Hi! Few hours ago I released PeaZip 2.0, I hope the renewed interface will improve usability, i.e. there are more keyboard shortcuts for common operations, more options are remembered, you can extract selected objects (extract to...) pressing the spacebar or the middle mouse button etc...
This release introduces support for lpaq8 and for custom format, allowing arbitrary executable to be used for archiving / extraction;
in this way the user can specify the executable to be used, enter parameters and chose the syntax (i.e. parameters + output + input).
It was also added the "Console" tab to allow importing and editing the command line of the job composed in the GUI (without changing the GUI frontend job definition); from this panel the modified command line can be launched or saved (i.e. for being used in scripts).
This tab can be used for all backed executables but clearly becomes even more useful when using "Custom" format, if the syntax need to be utterly adjusted beyond the capabilities of the frontend.
Linux: fixed bug in launching system benchmark utility
Windows: fixed bug in opendialog and processmessages handling that on some systems may randomly cause application to crash or to remain invisible in 1.* versions
