FreeArc: Archive with precomp, splitted and sfx? Need help with switches

    Hi,

I am using FreeArc already over an year, I found some nice switches here on forum.
Like -mex[1..9], it uses all the threads of mine Phenom II X6 1055@4GHz or -m9p with precomp & compress.

But until now, I don't know how to make a compressed .arc archive, splitted, with SFX and integrated Precomp or Srep that is unpacking without using myself an .bat file.

    Recommendations?

Should I follow the white rabbit?

I know, that you had plans to integrate splitt in 0.7 Version, but splitting and using precomp with InnoSetup ist a lil'bit complicated.

Too bad, I came here from google with exactly the same problems. I have a lot of practise with 7zip and it's switches and like the command line version.
But I prefer FreeArc after downloading some programs from a russian side and I discovered in my hex editor what was used to compress it.

WinRar is a horrible koszmar, files are too large, but it's fast.

    Edited:

I really need split volumes in freearc v0.666, I archive everything into 512MB parts sfx -- no problems with storing much files.

It's interesting to see on a Russian forum with dominant English language sb. from Germany named miyamoto writing in Polish.

Create archives with Freearc and split them with winrar (use "just store" option in combination with file splitting), that's what I do.

    PS:
    WinRar is a horrible koszmar
If somebody wants to know: the translation is nightmare (it's the same word in russian..)

I guess originally it came from the french language. It's not a "native" russian word, but I did not know when I lived in USSR. Not before I learned german, english and (a little bit) french (whereof I nearly everything forgot :P, I still understand a little bit, bit speaking is another thing.
