What do you mean by that? I believe the above command just removes meta data

The above command also does the entropy coding all over again.

I think jStrip is the tool the OP wants: http://davidcrowell.com/jstrip/

Great program with great speed. If it add fiunktsii remove certain metadata, it would be fine.

my stripper will strip all other metadata (except APP14), so what you want to keep?

I would like that I could specify, what metadata (exif, iptc, xmp, icc profile, photoshop, to comment, etc.) to leave and what to remove?

Today only Exiftool supports such opportunity, and thus supports JPEG RGB and JPEG CMYK. But thus it the slowest

short answer: no for keep it simple and fast.
long answer: writing functions that I don't use will hurt the quality of the program so feel free to fork it and add functions you want.

jpegstripper only program that is able to work and CMYK and RGB, has high speed
jStrip not support JPEG CMYK, Exiftool too slow
Exiv2 can not delete Photoshop Image Resource Block and ICC profile
    Maybe someone knows another program?
