Why more people need to do benchmarks

    It helps make compressors stronger

I've mentioned multiple approaches depending on string layout and where there is prevalence. i.e. where there is prevalence, some sections can be more beneficial to use nCr, look at strings, gaps, do something like add 1 then add 2 or something to this mathematical (recursive) nature and more. The multiple approaches with scans to determine 'raw' and 'compressible' parts and suitable concurrent algorithms should shrink a file to a generally compacted form.

Some data like text isn't enough to reduce the character base then look at string patterns for example, as recording gaps can be more prevalent, or where there is an overwhelming balance of 0/1 for example nCr can do more for some parts, and other things to duplicate this effect in offset sections, look at mirroring and so forth.

It isn't just to bench text, bmp (which can technically be just about any file anyway) and so on. It is more for dispersing varieties of strings and allow for prevalence, and complexity of algorithms/approaches can allow for shrinking the arrangement.

We need benchmarks because ideas that look good on paper don't always work out when you test them.
