SSIM source code for C++ available

Hi folks, you'll find a C++ implementation of single and multi-scale SSIM - an image quality index by Wang, Bovik and Sheihk - here: https://github.com/thorfdbg/ssim Without further arguments, the program outputs multiscale SSIM in the logarithmic scale (in dB), namely -10 log_10 (1-sssim). With a bit of computation, you'll find that 1-ssim is approximately MSE with an additional masking denominator, which is the motivation of the above expression. The implementation is available under BSD license and provides also a multi-core implementation that helps to provide a good performance on modern processors. Greetings, Thomas
