Some information about the FPAQ0sx file compressor:

The following information was originally posted by Nania Francesco Antonio in the maximumcompression.com guestbook.

Considered that "Fpaq0s5" is a clone of "Paq" then it would want to say that in some way he is compatible!
However I must point out that the same mr.Matt Mahoney has recorded it like program to if and it has not considered it "fpaq clone"! Creed that who has given a judgment is not a computer programmer! Between the other I have modified the predictor completely rendering the code various and have used a method "LZP+PPM+OX" that in the paq clones not is!

Really fast, but not much compression, 7-zip and uha still the best

You are correct; but it does not use filters and I believe that this compressor is still in the early stages of development.
