Optimized Intel (Win32/SSE) compiles of paq8f and paq8jd for Pentium 4 by wowtiger. These are about 6-8% faster.

I have an AMD Sepron 2400+ CPU so can't test these latest P4 SSE versions. Are they faster than Johan De Bock's Intel 9 compile?

    On my PC (Core Duo 1,83ghz 2gb ram) i compressed a folder with 2.21mb with johan's version(374.54s) and wowtiger's version (372,41s).
    Level 7 was used.

So wowtiger's version give a small speed up.
At your pc I thing wowtiger's version will also "faster", because of using isse units.

But to be sure just test it.

On my AMD Sempron PC, all of wowtigers versions crash as soon as they start to compress the file.
